No, this isn't something Phoenix Wright uses, but it's close.
From Comiket 83, these appear to have been extras if you bought the special novel. I remember something like this, several years ago I was impressed with how much anime stationary they can make, you'd think students would like to show off their otaku'ness. These are the equivalent of the manila folder, only that they are plastic and part see-through. By the way, the above file folder seems to be actually one piece.
I admit I'm posting this in part to ask anyone who owns these, if you can scan them or at least take a great centered pic of them, specifically the Houki/Rinny one, these have not hit the world widened web yet (as far as my ruined internet access has shown me), as Houki's husbando I must have this pic, her pose, those big ones, and that green-bow-in-her-hair-that-she-is-using-because-was-has-yet-to-be-defiled-by-Ichika, in fact all the girls are great in this, but the Houki shot, I NEED HER NOW XD
Come on, spend that 6000Yen and you can get a bag emblazoned with the girls in their above poses!

Oh yeah, gotta be the best news I had all October. All that's left now is to see if that conversation I had with a forum member was actually true :D

We've moved!
...some of it anyways. As part of ongoing changes I should have done a long time ago, I've gone and created another blog (here) specifically for safe-for-work anime/manga stuff. What in the world? 3 active blogs now? Well, the answer isn't so simple as it is as complicated, so let's break it down.

My 1TB HDD: 1 week later
Well it's a little more than a week but I ran into a problem I never thought I'd see:
What in the world? I run the regenerating overnight as well, so I have no idea when this happened, but waking up in the morning and seeing the drive powered off was a nightmare. Running the rescan again I found out what led to it:
Look at the "X", it's not even listed in the legend. What happened was when the program encountered a bad sector in the 2nd block, it proceeded to regenerate it, but then it encountered several more bad sectors, but instead of regenerating them, the bad sector count rapidly rose, to the point where the entire drive was listed as bad above.
I am absolutely frustrated over the lack of documentation regarding this problem, I know for a fact the entire drive is not damaged, HDD Sentinel lists it as 89% healthy with only 19 weak sectors, and I am able to still read files, albeit at only an average of 500KB/s. It took me more than 4 hours to copy 8GB of data, but the data was still intact. This leads me to think that it really is a hardware fault that not even the most powerful regenerating program can fix. What else can the program do if Western Digital is making it hard for it?
And I'm pissed, worried and totally low on moral. This changes things. I thought, like anyone else would, that with bad sectors, the logical solution is to regenerate them. But if there is a problem with the drive head, magnet, whatever is inside a hard drive, one cannot regen the sectors. I think that is my problem, and with this new development, I can't regenerate at all. It's now a race against time to save whatever files I can before the drive really dies, and that's what I don't have: time. Well, there's money too, but now I'm against time, my last chance is to RAW copy the drive into another drive, but that of course requires me to buy a new HDD, which I cannot at the moment.
And that's the part I'm frustrated about, online the general diagnosis is buy a new HDD. I'm a little sick of that these days, it sounds easy but not under circumstances like this. How was I supposed to know the Backup drive, the Plan B of all hard drive plans, would die? There is no Plan C for things like this. And what's worse, I originally thought of filing a request for a company replacement, but when it goes for review, I have no idea how much time that would take. I don't even think I can prove the drive died in the line of duty, my HDD problem earlier in the year led me to backup important documents into several drives, so that's going to be difficult.
As such, that donation link goes back up (in the links at the top of the blog). To get an idea of how much that drive means to me, I'm even considering selling my only phone. I honestly don't know how much I can get out of it because it's a Windows Mobile phone, and while it is 1Ghz, that's just about the only thing of value I have (in excellent condition) that I can part with on short notice. (It's the phone I was working on porting Android to it for XDA) Of course, I won't be able to receive calls anymore, or browse the net when mobile, but meh, tough times. You know that DS Lite Joystick mod I did? I sold that last year (without the mod of course). That was to buy a new power adapter for my Vaio after my repair job burned out.
Funny how a few months ago I was gearing up to get a new laptop. Several months later, I changed my focus on my health, and while I am maintaining a decent health (regarding my non-permanent health issues), that comes at a cost of my equipment's condition. I don't have a well paying job, to be honest. What's more, due to the nature of my work, much of it is either behind-the-scenes or kept off the record, so much of my contributions are largely kept unknown to parties involved. The question was asked before, why not change careers, but what am I to do when that's what I'm good at, contributing without a soul knowing I did. I guess a part of that comes from how I was raised: living day to day, never splurging but never giving half the effort, either.
And that's probably how my life will continue to be if I don't think of change. Not touching photoshop in nearly two weeks is leaving a bad taste in my mouth, and if I ultimately have to sell my phone, I have to fix Android before then or my work is a bust. Or well, if some of it wasn't in the HDD in question... and before all this, I renewed my internet for another 30 days, what happens after that, who knows. (it ends 15th Oct)

The drive is getting slower ever since the problem began (the higher the seek time the slower it is to read files)

My ongoing HDD troubles: cont'd
Today I've been incredibly bored out of my bleeding mind, I've scanned the heck out of my drive and decided to regen the bad sectors.
I have to say, after looking at that drive, my WD 1TB is really fortunate. What I faced earlier this year dwarfs the problem I currently have with my 1TB, to think I was booting from such a drive, I'm surprised I even got any files out of it. Granted a huge chunk of my personal files were corrupted, but right now my WD looks like a cake compared to that mess.
And you know what? That Fujitsu drive still works, files can be retained on there, and I even get it to boot into an OS. And according to HDD sentinel, that drive is at 0% health. My WD is reported at 89% health, so I think the problem is not as bad as what I faced earlier this year (a lot of files were lost to corruption.). Not to mention, a quick surface scan indicates the WD is not physically damaged, most in part due to my gentle care, but yeah, the situation right now doesn't look to bad.
What is bad is if you noticed above, the hdd regen process ran 6 hours and only 0.03% completed. It looks like my original estimation of 8 weeks looks more and more nightmarishly real now. And it's really damping my mood. In case you haven't guessed by now, I'm really unhappy. Unhappy it had to happen to the newest drive I own, incredibly unhappy this had to happen on the eve of the Yukikaze episode, unhappy that many of my most rarest of files are on that drive with no idea if they are still good, I've been trying to lift my spirits because really, I don't want this ruining the one chance Yukikaze has to shine, but it's really taking a lot on me.
My oldest hard drive, I believe it's a Toshiba 80GB IDE that was in my white laptop, that drive still runs through the brutal life it currently is running (ever since 2005, the drive has never rested). In Germany I really grinded that drive to bits, and it's still great as ever. My second oldest drive, one of the 3.5inchers, also lives, and that has seen constant use since 2006 up until Dec last year when the 1TB replaced it. Even my other 3.5incher still lives, seriously I've gone through several different manufactures from Samsung to Seagate, and this being my first non-desktop WD, I'm sure you can tell why I'm incredibly wary of them right now.
I thought of consoling myself on the fact that maybe I bought a model that was affected by the Thailand floods, but this is a 2010 model, not 2011 >__>
Maybe in time I will be back to my chipper happy self, but right now I am not. Here's hoping Yukikaze will awaken my hentaitron powers with the next ep.
Speaking of being bored, reading my About Me page scares me. That thing looks like, like an obituary or a biography for a dead guy, what the heck I'm not dead, sure I'm not happy right now but I sure as heck ain't dead. And that's all in part because of the past 4 months, I've been really been spending maximum effort on my health, I haven't had a headache since July all thanks to increased sleep times in exchange for less anime time, which is why I haven't been watching much series lately. I've also been eating more healthier, which of course has the side effect of costing more but hey, I'm glad it was just a drive that failed me and not my kidney or something, if I hadn't been taking care of my health, and have some sort of organ failure, my belongings will be the least of the problems.
Look at those delays.
I didn't even feel like watching some anime, I mean what the heck the entire Summer 2012 run up to last week is on that drive, I don't even feel like watching Sword Art Online because of that, so I ended up reading manga and H manga. Ahem, even that bored me out, so I decided to revisit that interesting Fujitsu drive that died on me earlier this year. Now that looks bad.
That's a lot of error.

My ongoing HDD troubles
In case you haven't heard, my 1 TeraByte external Hard Drive met an unfortunate sector problem Tuesday morning. This was very unexpected, as the drive was only for storage, particularly backing up each day in my life as time goes on. I did not grind this drive with high random reads and writes daily, and I most certainly treated it with care, keeping it free of dust and such.
At first I thought it was the USB ports on the laptop that I'm borrowing. But they didn't kill my older hard drives that I retired, which makes it even more frustrating is that this 1TB drive is not even a year old and it already has a fault. It was intended to backup two 3.5inch portable drives that I had to retire due to their size and low GB count (one of them is an 80GB, the other is a 250GB). I traveled with these, they came with me everywhere I went in Germany, all the way to Asia, and they still work, and yet this Western Digital drive is choking. So I figured if it wasn't the USB ports, and I treated it with care, what went wrong?
Then I remembered reviews. I generally prefer Newegg feedbacks because most of the people buying there are power users who know what they are doing, and looking at the drive that I own, I see that I am not alone in problems with this drive. My case seems to be a rather simple one: while I was doing the standard backing up of my files, it stopped copying yet the drive light kept blinking. Now everytime I plug the drive in, Windows will give that message that the drive should be checked. I've done that several times already, but the problem remains: there are still bad sectors. Bad sectors that might need to be regenerated just to get the drive back to normal.
And by normal I mean back to it's normal speed. As you can see above, I can see my files, but that's the time it takes for one 400mb file. One little file that I have no idea how my connection managed 400mb, but that's how long it takes. You know how long it took to copy 8GB from my drive? More than 4 hours. 4 hours! I don't have that much time to spend on copying files, so I need to regenerate the sectors. It took me 1 week to scan and regen my 160GB drive that died on me earlier this year, and if we times that 8, it would take me a little more than 2 months o__O.
It's rather problematic that I moved the entire Summer 2012 Anime that I have into the 1TB drive the night before it choked. To be honest, that isn't really important. I mean I know how much Anime means to me but what concerns me mostly is that this 1TB drive is my backup drive, which includes work as well, but it also includes the ultra rare XDA-developers work that I have done the past two years, I am the only known soul on Earth that contains the archives for several phones, and without these files I have absolutely no way of sharing my work for the community, which I was to slowly upload as time goes on.
The solution I've come up with is to guess which area of the drive is affected, scan it, and then regen that particular area only. That's the only way I can save the drive now, but that's the new problem: I need another drive to clone the files, which I don't have, and it being the middle of the month, I can't afford this. Especially when I canceled saving up for a new computer a couple of months ago due to new circumstances, but I never factored my hard drive because not only was it a rarely used, well cared for drive, but it is only 10 months old. I can't RMA it because it would cost me a heck of a lot of heck just to send it to them.
The problem (yellow warning)

RE: the controversy, Hero's then and now
This is how the female hero's treat their male counterparts, one from the old days and one from the present day.
Valery is an M, right? There's no way that guy would put up with that kind of treatment if he wasn't :P

RE: the controversy, an old dog trying to learn a new trick
Today marks my first dive into Photoshop CS6, which I was unaware of the amazing changes they brought to the table. One of the most notable changes I saw right away was the darker look of the program, which greatly, immensely lessens the eye strain. I had thought of putting aside photoshopping after I finished up Sakuno, but now that I like what I see, I can't wait to finish Sakuno :D (I intend to finish her tomorrow!)
You can try Photoshop CS6 here, which is a trial. Glad I got to try this before I make any serious commitments to this, and here I thought CS5 was decent enough (albeit it blinding me for months). One other nice change in CS6 that I like: GPU editing was optimized XD

What could it be this time...
For once in my life what bothered me the past week was something I was used to, but didn't want to happen. Sure, I was soooo close to getting pneumonia, but I fought that off as hard as I could. So my laptop battery now has a 1 hour battery life, instead of the 2 it was before the laptop was loaned to me (how am I going to explain that to the owner >_>). Oh, and I think I lost a few pounds, but allllll of that doesn't hold a candle to the shitty behavior of my wireless carrier, who without notice took down much of their data network offline with nary a warning or alert. You know what pisses me off? They spam you all they want with their so called "advisories" when it's just tricks to getting you to waste your top up load.
I know, ranting about my wireless carrier is old news and a pointless effort on my part. Sure, I'm happy I avoided pneumonia, did you know I was told that usually old folks in their 60's and 70's have a higher chance of being afflicted with that, and here I was, not even 30 years old and I'm like a 60 year old? I wasn't laughing when I heard that, and I'm glad I was warned about it and fought it as hard as I could. I coughed out more than 1 cup of fluid straight out of my lungs, the most strangest thing I ever done in my life (you'll know it's bad when blood starts to come out). I honestly thought this was a cold, and I know someone who had pneumonia before, but I didn't know what the symptoms were because I hadn't seen that person much before they were treated for it. And all that coughing I've been doing for the past year? Yep, I gotta say I was very close to being killed by my ignorance. Good to have some folks around you to tell you about things you usually would shrug off.
And about this laptop, I'm a little wary of how I use it these days. I'm being a bit more careful than I usually am, because I tell you it's weird conversations with the owner, they go a little something like this:
"Hey dude, I didn't know your laptop can play Crysis 2!"
*silence*
Talk about awkward.
Back to my wireless carrier, I am absolutely furious at their behavior. Why is it different this time? Well, I had a 30 day data plan activated before their network went kaput (that's 999 peso, just a little over $20 USD), and I know it went kaput because my 3G USB broadband dongle was picking up DEAD signals from the cell tower in the next town, my phone was absolutely refusing to lock onto a 3G signal, and no one else in my area had better luck. This is especially retarded when their EDGE network was also rendered useless, which used to be a fallback band to use in case 3G/HSDPA was down. With 3G and EDGE both inoperable, I was irate. Myanime and manga email and web browsing, halted because some network thinks it's a good time to fix their network? (at least I think they are fixing it). What pisses me off is that when money is plunked down on their network, and they pull shit like this, you have no way of getting your money back (they still haven't returned my money lost earlier this year due to a gaff in their network they clearly acknowledged was their fault and said they would refund within 24 hours which they never did). I even opened up a customer service chat that they have for free via SMS, and those shit bastards cut me off the moment the rep went on.
You know what pisses me off most of all? Why don't the citizens in this country stand up to these corporations that suck up their daily life? The damn network was down for more than a week! If this kind of stunt was pulled in the USA, you can bet there would be a public flogging of the network and that FCC would probably fine the company. I'm not even asking these people to waste their time doing rallys and what not, these people are heavy on Facebook, why don't they band together and do some public movement that would embarrass the shit out of this company, and it might actually get their stupid President off his lawsuiting butt and take action.
But that's the sad thing about the Philippines. No one stands up to these corporations. No one says anything, and the public doesn't give two shits and a rats ass because for some dumb silly reason, nobody wants to say anything! And I know what I'm saying, I want to do something but I'm not a citizen of this country. I look through the undernet of the Philippine forums, and there's a lot of members who voice their discontent over these networks and their destructive ways. And that's one of the problems: these folks hide away in these forums, complaining all they want about the costs of 3G internet being too high, but WHAT THE FUCK DOES THAT EVEN MATTER when all they are doing is hiding behind these forums. Go on Facebook! Voice your discontent on Twitter! Bloody do something out there that the media can pick up on, and report on, and get it nationally recognized that holy cheese whiz there's a problem with these wireless carriers and something must be done! Not even the two most recognizable tech blogs in this country even mentions these network outages, which I know is not just my area, it goes as far as Quezon City.
This is why there is hardly a USA investor in this country. The nerve of this country to try and bring Korean investors into here, the corruption is just going to eat them alive. I have one job to do with this country, and if the people will not stand and fight for a better way of life, there is no point in giving them that better way of life.
Sorry for the rant, but it's frustrating. So much poverty in this country, with corporations making millions while the average citizen slaves away at paltry wages. The Philippines can be a great country, but no one is making an effort to make it so. I'm going to continue doing what I can behind the scenes, as my position allows me to. But someone who isn't even a citizen of this country can only do so much. This country needs to change from within, not from the outside.
My
You know what pisses me off most of all?
Why do these girls have to die?
The following post is graphic and contains spoilers for the following manga (Highlight to read the titles): Akame Ga Kiru, Omamori Himari. If you haven't read those manga, or if you don't want to be spoiled, please come back later and share my misery. At the time of this post, the Omamori Himari chapter mentioned here was not translated into English, so if you do not want to be spoiled at all, turn away now.

Game #2 for Dakara Boku wa H ga Dekinai
Seems like a new game showed up for Dakara Boku wa H ga Dekinai. How it goes is actually more hilarious than I thought it would be:
First order of announcements
First of all, happy belated 4th of July, Americans. As the top visitors to my blog, I salute you all :D
Now, down to business. Let's get some things out of the way, I have been fighting off recurring symptoms of that cold I had last month, which I have been repeatedly warned that if left unattended, it could lead to pneumonia. That's how bad my coughing has gotten the past few days, and I have been working on preventing it from escalating. You might recall this is the same situation I was in Spring of last year.
2nd order of business is, that my plan to save up for a new lappy has been postponed due to many, many factors, including the above health problem. I shouldn't have to note that saving up for a laptop while leaving myself to die is a totally fruitless effort :P

NOOOOOO MAI WAIFUUUUUUU
After having a childish war of words with GenjiChan over at the AS forums, I took it upon myself to let chance decide who will be the rightful husband of Hyakka Ryoran Samurai Girls' Naoe Kanetsugu, and as you can see above......I GOT NTR'ED WTF I DEMAND A RECOUNT!!! I DEMAND AN INVESTIGATION INTO RANDOM.ORG'S SCRIPT!! NOOOOO MY WAIFU CANNOT LEAVE ME T___T

Some updates
Boredom really hits me at the strangest of times. I found watching anime while recovering from a cold to be a very taxing experience. Take for example Haiyore Nyarko, laughing with a bad cough is not good for health. But what else am I supposed to do, those girls are so funny.
So I do other things. Like... I ended up doing the Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai post on my Wordpress blog because I guess I have to think that I would assume that it should presumably be posted there due to questionable content..... lol. Like, I can't post anything here anymore? Sakuno would definitely be posted on my Wordpress blog once I'm done taking her apron off XD
Hey Google, how long my Adsense be re-enabled?

Recovering from a cold
So earlier this week I had a horrible 3 day headache, it got so bad I did everything I could to make it go away. One of those things is maintaining a cool environment for me to sleep in, but I had the unfortunate circumstance of sleeping without a blanket. (how am I supposed to know when it falls off...)
So there I was, woke up the next morning, oh my head is okay yahoo! (Cough). In obliterating my headache I caught a cold. A cold! How many manga I read that said only idiots catch a cold in the summer, and how many anime had a cute girl put a blanket on the protag, and I, the mangatron, did not have a cute girl put a blanket on me and say "geez, what will you do without me" T____T
But me having a cold is not the worst part. The worst, most mentally damaging part of all is that I have to recover without some assistance. Oh what a dream it would be if I was lying in bed, and up walks a cute girl in a pink miniskirt nurse outfit, wearing white thigh high stockings, with twintails and glasses, and she looks down on me and shifts her glasses and says "What do you want you piece of shit?" And then I'll be like "gaah help me" and I weakly reach for her butt and give it a nice fondle, and then she punches me in the gut as she says "Hentai!!" and I'll be like "Aggghhh I'm dying..." and then she'll be dere-dere and say "d-did it really hurt?" and I'll be like "I might die.... but if you press your breasts against my stomach, I'll revive" and then she'll......
Wait a minute, I'm not writing a hentai manga here....XD
What's even worse, I'm falling behind on my anime.
Tasogare: 1 episode behind
Haiyore Nyarko: 1 episode behind
Aquarion ELOL: 3 episodes behind
Acchi Cootchie: 2 episodes behind

To name a few. Ah.............I NEED TO SEE SOME BOOBIES there I had to get that off my chest XD

Oh, it's good to be back!
Thanks Tony Stark, but I'll take it from here ;)
Well, not all her glory, I'd take her bodysuit off but then you know....one question that would probably be asked a lot these days, is what in the world am I doing? (Haven't been posting much at Animesuki). It's life I tell you. A lot of things, not just my health, or me doing some soul searching, or getting older, but a lot of things.
One of those things is facing the facts about a 17 inch monster laptop (that I'm currently "using"). It's tiring. Like, I haven't used a screen this big before, and it's tiring for photoshopping. And it's not just me, for the past few weeks I've been looking through a lot of information on laptops these days, and one of the things I came across was this piece at NotebookCheck: "However nowadays, more and more 16:9 displays with 15.6 inch appear. The reason why so many people like displays with medium size is, that this size is not exhausting for the eyes, does not need too much energy and the laptops can be kept quite compact." See the bolded part? It's kills me for this 17 inch lappy. I photoshop on maximum brightness to bring out the true effect of my editing, and I tell you, 17 inches of widescreen glory is a lot of ground for my eyes to cover.
But why do I edit on full brightness anyways? It's because of this (NSFW) particular 'shop that I made. Do you see what it looks like? It looks terrible. Yeah, I said that, and I'll say it again. IT LOOKS HORRIBLE. Well I didn't use the word "terrible" just now, but you know what I mean. Look around her mouth area. What the heck was I thinking? No, I saw it alles klar alright, but the problem I had was: It was on my previous laptop, a Sony Vaio with crap Intel Graphics and definitely not an LED backlit screen. First of all, I despise the Intel IGP graphics with all my heart. The damn things override how your screen looks, and what the bloody hell, it looked okay on that screen, but looking at Shirley with all this 17 inch of LED backlit goodness makes me see the ridiculous junk the Intel graphics really are. Now I feel like re-doing the whole thing again, ugh I can't believe it.
Next shop should really be that Rinne no Lagrange one I postponed for what, 2 months now. I am really late with that, and need to get it out soon if I want to get in on the upcoming Megami and Nyantype posters. Oh, and I would de-text the rest of the Evangelion pics, but I'm a big fan of Makinami and her... zettai ryouiki.... her glasses.... and her sniffing habit :P
This return to photoshopping was done to show the Moepic'ers that I'm not some "poor foreigner" lol.
De-texted in all her glory.

My left eye is back to normal!!!
It's as clear as day because when I woke up, try the glasses, man does life look blurry. I take them off and boom, am I still asleep, things are clear again! I can tell because I tried it later in the day when I'm really awake and wow, I can focus properly again, I have my high spatial awareness again yahoo!!
And it left a trail funkiness in my wake. That set me back more than a month, and here I was saving up to finally convince myself to see the doctor if my eye didn't get better. Good thing too, now I can focus on saving up for what really matters: a new laptop (remember what I'm using right now is a borrowed laptop lol)
I gotta say what really helped my eye was gaming. Yeah, I meant that, playing video games. Anime was quite tiring to watch, so I was bored you know, so I figured why not play some games. I tell you, if there's one bad habit I have, it's buying games and not playing them. I even left my PS2 in Germany, with a bunch of uncompleted games. Talk about regret, but really, playing games did help because it's the only thing I can think of that has high motion. Well, what is within my limits of course, it's not like I can jump into a fighter plane and fly mach 2 above the ground, maybe it would help my eye but it sure would black me out :P
So gaming helped because most of what happened to me has to be eye trauma. Or shock, whatever it is, I know I was severely traumatized by that burning sensation of that glue on my eye, and the fact I had to seal it up for a bit really hurt me emotionally. So when I actually got to open my eye again, and made those custom glasses, I still was afraid to open my eyes. Just look at my anime viewing, it was averaging one episode a day, and even 1 episode every 2 days. So I decided, as much of a thinking junkie that I am, I also like intense high adrenaline gaming, so what better way to get my eye to not be afraid to see than to put it in a situation where if I didn't want to lose at gaming, my eyes better help me win.
So I've always had this suicidal gameplay style for FPS games, ever since the DF1 days (Have you folks ever gamed on a Windows 98 machine with 64MB of RAM, which is actually 56MB due to shared video memory, and don't get me started on those DOS games), and that suicidal gameplay is highly dependent on of course my high spatial awareness. Granted I'm only talking about single player since I haven't gone online since 2007, but not every single player experience is the same, as Splinter Cell conviction showed us (which I think was a glitch actually).
And honestly, I have that competitive fire again. While I'd like to play online to really get that drive going, I think single player gaming was enough to get my eye out of it's funk and start moving properly again. It wasn't just FPS games though, I even busted out a few mobile gaming via my phone and Nintendo DS. I also was afraid a few weeks ago about how my eye would shape up once I get a 3DS, but now that my eyes are normal, a 3DS might not be as bad as I thought.
Overall, not bad for healing an eye trauma in one month. Well, might be more than a month, but who cares, my eye is back, and it means more.... updating actually. My "about me" page is seriously lacking in details, and I also need to explain that one damaging reason as to why watching anime (a lot) and working with photoshop was more painful than it sounds. Not to mention there's some radical changes to my internet connection no thanks to Mr wireless carrier, so that's coming right up. What also helped was the massive amount of sleep I've been getting, definitely was more than what I've ever gotten the past decade :p
And then the anime I'm behind on, oh the horror. Make that, like 3, or that was 4 series, might be more, but I am behind by as much as 3 eps on each of them. I basically just prioritized Tasogare, Sankarea, and.... gee, I can't tell anymore. I do find myself behind on Sankarea too, so gaaah, it might be worse than I thought :(

Feel my birthday again!
It's V-E day!
Ah, I'm another year older. Before you guys start with those grandpa jokes again, I'm really not that old. Heck, I'm not so far gone that I can't get married anymore, but I'm certainly not young. In fact, I'll give you guys the first hint ever (if you haven't been reading my posts carefully on Animesuki): I'm not even 30 years old. (Yeah that's right, Malkuth senpai :P)

One week after
Today is the seventh day since my eye got hurt, and I've got bad news: it's not any better than then. My left eye is still blurry and I have extreme difficulty getting it to focus. When I try as hard as I can to actually focus on something, I can't help but blink, and all focus is lost again. And since I blink like any other normal human, I can't focus at all. I know that can't be right because if I just use my right eye, it can focus normally and re-focus properly after I blink. Everything I look at is a little blurry, and no matter what text size I look at, it always looks the same way: like a little blur around the edges.
Even using corrective lens', my left eye cannot focus. Now I am at aloss as to what to do. I don't want to go see a doctor because I'm very not fond of hospitals, and my own analysis shows that my pupil looks the same as my right, it reacts the same way to light, so the only thing I can think of is that my nerves must have been shocked from the intense pain I felt when the glue hit. Which of course would lead to eye surgery and that's just something I don't want to take a risk on (again, I have personal reasons why I avoid surgery options).
I can still see though, it's just a little blurry. I also can use my right eye to compensate, but lately I've been feeling it get tired a lot sooner than it used to (it was not my superior eye before, so I made no effort to perfect it). One other thing that's difficult, is that because it is not my superior eye, if I were to use it by itself, anything I see actually appears a little to the left than how it originally apears (for example, if I try to stand on a line on the street, I actually stood to the right of the line instead of on top of it). Teaming this poorly aligned eye with my blurry left eye is all the wrong combos I can think of.
The only thing I'm thinking of right now is that I have to get backto photoshop. I left a long trail of unfinished business and if I have to use just one eye, I'm going to. I can't let this keep me down. I still have my wacky mind, and while still believe my eyes are my greatest asset, by themselves they don't make me who I am. And who I am, I am a person who does not give up.

How do I start this...
In case some of you saw zilch of me the past week, I am currently recovering from a damaged eye from (wait for it): a defective pack of super glue. Now before you guys laugh at the deja vu of a holy bukkake, this is actually quite serious. The super glue exploded to more than just my eye, it affected my eye lid, and has caused me to lose 1/3rd of my eyebrow, half my eye lashes, and 1/3rd of the left side of my mustache. While I can simply grow back my facial hair, my biggest concern is my left eye, my superior eye, which is currently reduced to a blurry mess. A real blurry mess. As you can imagine done things with one eye is extremely difficult, and you can tell right now I am having a very tough time enjoying anything right now, and considering my two most enjoyable forms of entertainment (manga and anime) involves the use of ones eyes, well, it isn't fun anymore.
And I've tried too. I tried the latest ep of Aquarion with only one eye, and I don't know if it's because of Kagura or the fact my Mixy got manhandled by that doggy, but it was a painful viewing experience. So I thought maybe it was too much action, maybe some manga would help. I tried to use both of my eyes and have my right eye compensate heavily for my left eyes blurryness, and it was actually hilarious. What looks like a Quadruple Accel to normal readers looked like a Hexccel to me, and I saw a lot more Charles-chan than I think there was. Speaking of that, I didn't know "Charles" can be a girls name too...
Anyways, that's what it is right now. I have no idea when this will heal, if it will ever go back to normal, or if I can actually post properly anywhere. This blog post was filled with typos, I had to rely on the red lines I see to correct whatever I did wrong. I'm still not sure of that, but as it stands, I won't be touching Photoshop anytime soon, but I won't give up anime and manga and I will be using the rest of my strength to enjoy those two like I have been. It's painful yes, I never knew my eye could burn so much without a single flame in sight, but the thought of dropping those two horrifies me more than the current eyepatch that I have to keep handy in case my eye tells me it's too much. I am not giving up. Do I regret not wearing my glasses the moment that super glue burned my eye? Yes, I regret it heavily. But I know I would regret it even more if I let this current season of anime pass me by all because of a silly mistake I did.
Let's talk manga: and it starts with N
Man I seriously got to stop piling up drafts, so I hope you enjoy the first of many manga related posts I intend to do from now on.
NamiiroApparently based off a video game. I say apparently, because I have no idea what kind of game, visual novel, PS2 game, maybe a cell phone game or even a PSP game. Searching on Google isn't helping me either, while I'd rant about my connection speed, seriously, the Miss Uganda competition was in the top 4 search results for "Namiiro" lol (searching "Nami Iro" didn't help my cause for a 1st page result)

Winter 2012 double feature
Oh bugger my neck freakin hurts...
Anyways, so long, Guilty Crown, and thanks for the laughs! Wha? the genre isn't comedy? Well let's make it comedy then!
What isn't so lame is the High School DxD fight. Seriously, if it was just 10 seconds, that would have been the most underwhelming fight ever. Here's my take on it:
Don't ask, just laugh:

Let's have fun, shall we?
So as you might have guessed, I've been somewhat apprehensive at using photoshop recently due to personal reasons. I powered my desire to do the Koneko shop over on my Wordpress blog for several reasons, 1) it was a request, 2) THE GLOVES, and 3) Naked Koneko W/gloves :P
I of course don't like my recent behavior regarding photoshop, so I decided that I need to go back to my roots, what is it that makes it fun for me. I got a huge confession to make: I am unable to relax and have fun. I mean, the kind of way a normal human being can. I'm the type of person that can't do something unless there's a deadline. An ultimatum, heck a gun to my head, I'll do it, at times I even take huge risks by letting a little time pass by and lowering the remaining time to work, just to make the deadline more challenging. That's why I was able to do the Koneko shop as quickly as I did: it was a request, someone maybe, but it was there, just begging me to work on it. Bad habit I tell you, and as you can see, I somewhat suck at doing photoshop for fun.
So here's what I decided: do something random, anything, maybe I ought to continue RE: the controversy, but below is something I just mashed together:
You might have seen these from the eyecatches, but not together like this. I was laughing while doing this, seriously, it looks like these two eyecatches were actually one scene XD (in case you are wondering, Rias was originally holding a basketball).
So what's the caption for this? "Bloomer wrestling"? :P
So hopefully now I'll cough out those 'shops I was supposed to upload.

And there they go...
...over to my wordpress blog. But I disappeared over the weekend. My neck was still hurting, which was over a week already, and since that's not normal, I hadn't realize something important that I had done to treat my chain headaches: massages. Now it may seem funny, but it's true, they really help, and now my neck is a lot better, although I still have to perform Batman turns to avoid snapping my neck, but yeah, with that taken care of, it's a lot better these days. But my shoulder remains as delicate as it is now. Why in the world won't I get a surgery, is probably the main question since all those many years ago. I do have reasons, several of them serious, which is enough to sway me from it. I'll detail them later, but right now I'm considering therapy, after the recent neck massage, as well as some upper body exercises that were recommended to me. Hey, anything than going under the knife.
And a little rant, but seriously Mozilla, I'm very unhappy with you right now:
This happens to me regularly. Like, too regularly, and for a fellow like me with a bad connection, keeping 162 tabs open at the same time is crucial for the cache to load images that I already painstakingly loaded. And when Firefox crashes the way it does with half those tabs without images, no Mozilla, that is not embarrassing, that is an atrocity, especially when this didn't happen to me when I was using version 3.6 and lower. I feel like going back to that, but then half the bloody internet won't work because oh your browser is too old time to upgrade blah blah yadda yadda yoda.
I hated Chrome, and I could only chuckle at Opera, but now Firefox is making me punch my screen and rip my hair out.
Sure was a strange weekend though. Had 2 guys over at XDA return to the forum, who were off the forum for a long time, one of them 2 years. Also had some stuff to take care of over there, so I guess I can't leave that place alone.

A cat is fine too...
...wait, fine? Oh yeah, how about, "A catgirl is EVEN BETTER" XD
To be honest, I feel so lost. I've never done this before, trying to relax, take a break, etc. Forcing myself to think less and relax, that doesn't feel right. It's like, always driving a Ferrari at 15mph. It wasn't made for that XD
So, my idea of relaxation is this: photoshop.
Captain America: What is this?
mangatron: The first of many.
Let's see if I can make a record. Most edited Megami Nyantype posters in a certain time frame. Up next, Ano Natsu de Matteru x2 as well as the two Zero no Tsukaima posters and one of the PapaKiki posters, keep an eye out on the Wordpress blog. Like that Ironhide said, I got better things to do tonight than die :P
And how about that episode 09, eh?
Try to see the difference with the original scan of Volume 11

Highschool DxD episode 09 preview
FINALLY. Finally Akeno undresses. It's been a long time coming, tell me all 4 girls are going to bathe together XDLife update
Ah, what happened to one of the page links below the banner? I figured I'd add it back when the time is right, instead of it looking like there really is something there. I guess C3's "coming soon" page is still irking me :P
Aside from that, I gotta admit, I'm rather bored. For the first time in, I don't know, probably 20 years, I have to cut back on my work. I have to slow down, take it easy, and yet,..... I can't. Seriously, I don't know how, to the point I end up so lost lol. I guess that's what happens when you don't have a schedule to follow.
Oh, and one more thing: Megami and Nyantype magazine's, I will not let you out of my grasp again. Glory to photoshop! :D (Yeah, that means keep an eye on my Wordpress blog for the ultimate time waster :P)
